As the situation unfolded, a second fan rushed towards Acuña, resulting in contact that caused him to fall to the ground. Braves teammates rushed to assist, but Rockies’ security staff promptly removed both spectators from the field.

Acuña, visibly relieved, remained in the game after the incident. He later expressed his perspective, stating, “I was a little scared at first but you know I think the fans were out there and asking for a picture. Security was able to get there and so I think everything’s okay, everyone’s okay.”

The Braves third baseman, Austin Riley, emphasized the importance of Acuña’s safety, saying, “Just glad he was safe… thankful for nothing that seriously happened.”
