From the pose to the actual throw, he nailed it. The Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia 76ers’ fans could not have asked for more.

 

The Phillies lost to Shohei Ohtani and the Angels by a score of 10-8, so Nurse’s charisma wasn’t enough to help the team win.

Nurse appears to be making good progress toward his goal of becoming thoroughly acclimated to Philadelphia prior to the 2023–24 NBA season. Philadelphia sports fans will love him even more if he shows to be the best candidate for the position.The 2022-23 NBA season was the Sixers’ best ever, as they finished 54-28. Philadelphia’s playoff performance was a major letdown despite the team’s great lineup, which was led by the tandem of James Harden and Joel Embiid. Nurse has already secured a bona fide superstar in Embiid, the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player. James Harden is still on the squad, but he and the 76ers don’t exactly see eye to eye.Whether or if he can finish his first season as Sixers head coach as well as Kimbrel did in his peak remаins to be seen.
