Natalia Bryant, daughter of Kobe Bryant, will throw the first pitch on Lakers Night at Dodger Stadium

The 1st of September is Dodgers’ Lakers Night, honoring the current and former champions of the storied Los Angeles basketball franchise.

In honor of the recent 45th birthday of the late Lakers shooting guard and Hall of Famer Kobe Bryan, the Dodgers will allow his eldest daughter, Natalia Bryant, to throw out the first pitch.

Natalia follows in the footsteps of her late great-grandfather by sending out the opening pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. Kobe Bryant did it after winning his first NBA championship in the summer of 2000, but it was certainly not his last.

Since Kobe’s arrival in Los Angeles, he has been heavily involved with the Dodgers, witnessing numerous games during and after his NBA career. Attending the 2018 World Series event in which Yasiel Puig Һit a no-doubt home run in event 4 is most notable.

After Kobe Bryant’s tragedy, which claimed the lives of the 18-time All-Star, his daughter Gianna, and seven others, on August 24, 2020, the Dodgers observed Mamba Day.

Kobe and Gianna’s playing numbers, 24 and 2, were inscribed on the mound at Dodger Stadium while a pregame video narrated by Vin Scully was playing.

In addition, the Dodgers will give away an exclusive Kobe Bryant apparel with the purchаse of a special ticket.

This jersey features both numbers Bryant wore during his career, in addition to a serpent pattern commemorating the Black Mamba.

It will be a special evening for Dodgers and Lakers fans as they honor an all-time great and support the legacy he leaves behind in his eldest daughter Natalia.
