Chelsea continued to disappoint when they let Bournemouth draw 0-0. Defender Axel Disasi shared his thoughts after the Blues’ poor start.
After a shocking 0-1 loss to Nottingham Forest at home, Chelsea marched to Bournemouth’s field with the hope of winning all 3 points. They need to do that to hopefully close the gap with the leading group.
The London team played proactively, they had opportunities but could not take advantage. Raheem Sterling or Nicolas Jackson both had situations where they could shoot the ball into the opponent’s wooden frame. With Bournemouth holding to a 0-0 draw, Chelsea dropped to 14th place on the rankings, with only 5 points after 5 matches.

When asked about Chelsea’s poor start, defender Axel Disasi said: “We controlled the ball well against Bournemouth, we created many opportunities but couldn’t score. I think with what happened, Chelsea deserved to win. Maybe we need to do a better job of finishing off our opponents.”
“The feeling is a bit angry right now, but if we keep going in the right direction everything will be fine. There are still a lot of games ahead, if we stay on track we will come back strong. The coach is always positive and so is the whole team.”
“I am satisfied with my performance. I tried my best to help the team. I have put in a lot of effort recently, I will continue to do that.”
