After leaving Manchester United, David de Gea is in negotiations with a new team

United let the Spanish player’s contract expire at the end of June despite talks to extend it and instead replaced him with Inter Milan’s Andre Onana for £47 million.

After 12 years with United, De Gea announced his departure on July 8.

The 32-year-old has been heavily associated with clubs in Saudi Arabia and Bayern Munich, but he has yet to find a new club.

Although he was unable to find a new club before the transfer window closed, his status as a free agent does not prevent him from doing so.

And Fichajes claims that a move back to Spain and La Liga is possible. De Gea, who is reportedly out of choices, is reportedly in negotiations with Real Betis.

The Andalusian club is looking for a third goalkeeper to join 40-year-old former Manchester City stopper Claudio Bravo and Rui Silva after being blown out 5-0 by champions Barcelona in their most recent match.

Betis, according to a fresh source, “cannot afford to wait until the January transfer window to secure a quality goalkeeper.”Betis would be quite interested in acquiring David De Gea, a goalkeeper with substantial Premier League and Spanish national team experience.

It’s also possible that Valencia is interested, but unable to pay the requested salary.

As he was rumored to be making £375,000-a-week at United, the former Atletico Madrid player will likely have to take a significant pay reduction.

Nabil Fekir, who plays for Betis, reportedly earns £112,000 every week.
