Nike recently thrilled fans by announcing the return of LeBron’s fourth sneaker, the Nike LeBron 4, in a timeless colorway. Now, just a week later, Nike has revealed two additional color options for LeBron’s latest model. Stay tuned to our Sneakers news for more updates on upcoming releases and exclusive content.
The first of the two new pairs is named “Akoya,” taking inspiration from a unique type of oyster renowned for producing pearls. This shoe pays tribute to James’ daughter, Zhuri, and is designed to mimic the oyster’s outer shell. The uppers feature a pristine pearly white color, adorned with striking orange accents on the logos and heel of the shoe.
The official color code for this pair is Light Bone/Campfire Orange-Celestine Blue-Pink Rise-Dark Russet. Fans can look forward to its release on September 28, 2023, with a retail price of $200. The “Akoya” colorway will be available on the Nike SNKRS app and at Nike retailers worldwide.
The second pair, aptly named “Abalone Pearl,” follows a similar thematic approach. While the “Akoya” pair resembles the oyster shell, this one draws inspiration from the priceless pearl found within the oyster. It boasts a captivating blue and green upper with an iridescent pattern reminiscent of the play of light on sea water and a pearl’s surface.
The outsole features a mesmerizing ocean-blue hue that extends up through the tongue and sock liner. While an official release date is yet to be announced, fans can expect this pair to follow a similar release pattern to its counterpart.
