Christopher Nkunku ‘In progress’

After Mauricio Pochettino got a big injury boost, a Chelsea player warned Christopher Nkunku.

In Chelsea news, Christopher Nkunku shared an update on his injury, and a Blues teammate sent Mauricio Pochettino a clear message.

Christopher Nkunku will probably play a big part for Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea team when he comes back from surgery. The France player hurt his knee badly at the end of preseason. It was later found that he had torn his meniscus, and he would be out of action for several months and need surgery.

The Blues have really missed Nkunku, who scored three goals in preseason. In their first five Premier League games, they have only scored five goals, three of which came in a win against Luton Town. This season, they have only won one league game. Before the international break, they lost to Nottingham Forest, and then they tied 0-0 with Bournemouth last weekend.

He put a set of pictures on Instagram and wrote, “In progress..[timer emoji]” next to them. Raheem Sterling and Ian Maatsen were among the people who replied to his post, and Carney Chukwuemeka seemed very happy about the idea of the 25-year-old coming back to play with him. He wrote “Loadinggg [flame emoji and eyes emoji]” as a reply.

Chukwuemeka hasn’t played in a month because he hurt his knee in Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to West Ham. This happened right after he scored his first league goal for Chelsea. The former Aston Villa player is expected to be back in October. Nkunku is expected to be back in November, but it is more possible that he will be ready to play in December.

Chukwuemeka filled in for Nkunku at first, but now that both of them are hurt, Pochettino is having trouble coming up with new ideas. Cole Palmer was brought in from Manchester City at the end of the summer transfer window, but he hasn’t played for his new team yet. On the other hand, Mykhailo Mudryk was given a chance to play right away against Bournemouth.

The U k r a I n e  player showed flashes of his talent, but Chelsea couldn’t play to his strengths, so he was eventually replaced by Palmer just after the hour mark. Moises Caicedo was out last weekend, giving Lesley Ugochukwu a chance to shine, which he seemed to take. However, Chelsea’s new record signing is expected to be ready for this weekend’s game against Aston Villa.
