Insiders have shared with Us Weekly that their newfound relationship is steadily blossoming, although Shakira isn’t rushing into anything too serious at the moment.

 

The source mentioned, “They’re growing closer every day,” while emphasizing that Shakira has other priorities to attend to. “Shakira has a lot on her plate. Her main priority is her kids and career. But she’s definitely optimistic about finding love again.”

 

Shakira and Butler are said to have started their romantic journey over the summer. Shakira had recently relocated to Florida following her breakup, conveniently placing her in the same city as Butler, who plays for the Miami Heat. In July, Entertainment Tonight reported that they were spotted enjoying a dinner date at Novikov Restaurant & Bar in London, where witnesses described their interactions as “cozy.”
