Lionel Messi has said that he and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, would consider trying for a second child.
Messi, 36, and his stunning wife Antonela, also 36, have three sons together: Thiago, 10, Mateo, 7, and Ciro, 5. Messi is well-known for being a family man.
Since the Argentinian player moved to the United States to play for David Beckham’s Inter Miami, the family has been observed out and about, visiting the neighborhood grocery store, dining out, and supporting their father at his games.
The family of five, however, might soon expand to six as the seven-time winner of the Ballon d’Or would not rule out the idea of yet another child joining the Messi clan.
Argentinian comedian Migue Granados questioned the soccer player during an appearance on OLGA if he and Antonela, a model and influencer, would consider having another child.
In addition, Messi, who had invited Granados to his Miami house to film the episode, hinted that a baby girl was on the way.
He acknowledged, “We’re not trying, but I don’t know [whether the factory has closed]. We’ll wait and see if a daughter is born.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Messi’s eldest son Thiago joined the Inter Miami academy in August.
Messi claimed that his three sons all have extremely distinct characteristics, which allowed him to explain that Thiago is more of a mama’s boy.

Messi continued by praising his wife and describing her as a loving mother to their three children.
She is a wonderful mommy. She is with them constantly, whilst I am frequently away. She stays every day while I’m gone for up to a month or month and a half sometimes.
In Rosario, where both Messi and Antonela were born and raised, they initially connected in the 1990s. The Argentine found his true love when he was just five years old.
Lucas Scaglia, a boyhood buddy of Messi’s, was the cousin of Antonela. When they were young, the two lovebirds ended up spending a lot of time together.
Messi and Antonela’s friendship grew during their formative years, and even after the No. 10 moved to Barcelona at age 13 they remained in touch. Messi and Antonela later made their relationship public in 2008.
After bringing their first son Thiago into the world in 2012, Messi and Antonela went on to have two more kids, Mateo (2015) and Ciro (2018).
The couple was married in 2017 in a grandiose ceremony at a five-star hotel in the center of Rosario.
She is a devoted fan of her husband’s career and is frequently spotted cheering him on from the stands.
The couple has immersed themselves in Miami’s social scene since moving to South Florida, dining out alongside David and Victoria Beckham, close friends, and Messi’s teammate Sergio Busquets and his fiancée Elena Galera.
