The four crucial roles in his team, according to Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino, won’t ever change.
Mauricio Pochettino emphasized the value of having strong, seasoned players in specific spots on the field prior of Chelsea’s Premier League matchup against Aston Villa.
“Keeper, center defender, midfielder, and striker all solid, stable players. I recall that either my father or grandfather stated the same thing every time. That won’t change in the future, the Argentine said, according to football.london and other media. As with all coaches, you have experience in crucial positions, strong players with experience, individual experience, and the atmosphere in which you will compete.
With the recent additions of players like Robert Sanchez, Nicolas Jackson, and Enzo Fernandez, the Blues have undergone significant transformation in those areas. Even though Chelsea has added another central defender in Axel Disasi and Levi Colwill has returned from his loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, Thiago Silva has continued to start matches.
Chelsea need a spine
In essence, Pochettino has really emphasized the significance of a team having a spine, or a core of dependable and experienced players.
Chelsea does not currently have it because their roster is so young and does not truly have a stable starting lineup.

It has been challenging for Pochettino to lay a solid foundation because they have made so many new acquisitions recently and have experienced a lot of injuries.
The fact that Chelsea simply cannot compete with teams like Manchester City and Arsenal, who have that foundation and continuity in their teams, should come as no surprise.
Hopefully Pochettino and Chelsea are in a position to compete with their Premier League rivals in a year or two. But the Blues will find it difficult to compete until they have that core back.
Will Pochettino have enough time to produce one? It will be intriguing to watch.
