Unconventional marriages: Athletes who keep us guessing

When our favorite athletes aren’t dominating professional leagues and snagging championship titles, they often keep us entertained with their intriguing personal lives.

Take LeBron James, for example. He may be the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, but his marriage to Savannah James garners just as much attention as his on-court achievements.

Not surprisingly, the couple has become a fixture in the world of Hollywood power couples. LeBron once expressed his deep appreciation for Savannah by saying, “[Savannah] was there when I was in high school, long before the cameras and spotlights.

She stuck by my side. You wouldn’t be talking to me right now if it weren’t for her,” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Similarly, Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, epitomize what many consider to be “couple goals.” They first crossed paths as children and tied the knot in July 2011, eventually welcoming three children together.

Despite their lengthy relationship, Stephen and Ayesha have managed to keep the spark alive. Ayesha explained their secret to success in a February 2022 interview with Access Hollywood: “For us, it’s all about never forgetting to date each other, setting aside time to dress up, and go out to do all those special things. That’s what keeps things exciting.”
