Anthony Davis wants to play as many games as he ever has. The Lakers center wants to play close to 82 games this season. Fans should be very happy about what he said during media day, as long as he doesn’t get hurt.

Davis is a key player on defense for the Lakers and, at worst, their second best оffensive choice. He was so good at defense that he might have been in the running for DPOY if he had been healthy all season. Davis should make it his main goal this year to win that award. He is one of the best defenders of his age but hasn’t gotten enough credit for it.
While the Lakers had a good end to the season and made a lot of good additions over the summer, they are expected to be title contenders this season. If everything comes together, the Lakers will have one of the best teams this year with James and Davis, along with a strong roster with almost 12 players who can play at any time.
