Bronson James, I hope you have a wonderful birthday!
His renowned father couldn’t be more pleased with how his son is doing in college basketball since he turned 19 on Friday, October 6.
LeBron James marked the occasion by posting two adorable photos of the two athletes to Instagram.
In the first, LeBron is seen putting his arm around his son’s shoulder as they pose courtside. Bronny is wearing a San Francisco Giants jersey and flashing the peace sign.
The second photo showed the pair striking a similar pose outside, but this time Bronny gave the camera a thumbs up.
“On and off the court you’re the 🐐 @bronny!!” As the 38-year-old Los Angeles Lakers player put it, “G.O.A.T.” stands for “Greatest of All Time.”
“Happy Birthday, son!!!” he exclaimed. I you, child. Never stop climbing!
At the moment, Bronny is following in his father’s footsteps by playing basketball for the University of South Carolina Trojans.
He suffered a cardiac collapse due to a congenital heart abnormality early this summer and is still healing, but team coach Andy Enfield says everyone is hoping he’ll be back on the court soon.
Bronny is “around when he can be” and is currently “getting caught [up] with some schoolwork,” with the coach adding that everyone is “really excited for him” to be back in class and doing well.
LeBron James, who is devoting this basketball season to his oldest son Bronny, recently spoke about the latter’s health, saying, “If he was to walk through the door right now, you wouldn’t even know he had what he had because of how well he’s moving; how vibrant he is.” To have him where he is today is a fantastic thing.
