As of this writing, James had scored 10 points, dished out 5 assists, and pulled down 3 boards in 17 minutes of action.

At the age of 38, LeBron James displayed a fantastic performance, averaging 28.9 points per game. His last season with a high scoring average was 2008-09, when he won the MVP award for the first time.

James’ shooting accuracy also stayed stable, as evidenced by his 50.0% overall field goal percentage and 32.1% success rate from beyond the arc in the previous campaign. James will turn 39 in December, but that doesn’t meаn he can’t continue to deliver impressive performances.

James was asked his thoughts on becoming the NBA’s oldest player on camera by a member of the media during LA Lakers training camp. LBJ gave the camera a hilarious scream of amazement before he thunderously slammed the ball into the hoop. While James himself didn’t comment, the message was clear: James’s age won’t be an issue for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

The “King” isn’t slowing down yet, so fans have a long way to go before they have to worry about a decline in quality. The only thing that can currently prevent James from performing at his peak is an ιnjury.
