When the Warriors take on the Kings in a preseason game at Golden 1 Center on Sunday night, it will feel very different.

According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, who cited unnamed sources, neither Steph Curry nor Chris Paul will suit up for the Warriors in their third preseason game.

In the Oct. 7 preseason game, both Curry and Paul logged 13 minutes of action for the Warriors. On Friday, they played another exhibition game against the Lakers, and this time Paul played for 20 minutes and Curry for 21.

Now that the Warriors had played two games in three nights, Stephen Curry and Chris Paul will get some rest, opening the door for Golden State’s bench players to create a strong preseason impression ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.
