According to the Los Angeles Lakers Acquire a Current Sixers Player Lakers Reportedly Sign Former 76ers Player

In his one game last season for the Philadelphia 76ers, Louis King scored 20 points, grabbed four boards, dished out two assists, and swiped one ball.

King also appeared in 18 Showcase Cup games and three G League playoff games, averaging 16.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.5 steals in 32 regular season games while shooting 46.5% from the field and 39.3% from deep.

King became a free agent this summer, and on Wednesday, it was rumored by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype that he would be joining the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to Scotto: “The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Louis King to a deal, his agent @GeorgeLangberg of GSL Sports Group tells @hoopshype.”

In 2019, King came out of Oregon unselected in the draft.

After four years in the NBA, he retired from the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers.

King has played in 27 games, averaging 4.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 41.7% field goal and 35.1% three-point shooting percentage.

King has played in 66 regular season games in the G League, averaging 15.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 44.6% from the field and 37.1% from deep.

He has also played in three G League postseason games and six Showcase Cup games.

On October 24, the Lakers will travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets in the season opener.
