The father of Ja Morant, Tee Morant, has received some support from Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green.
Green does not agree with the widespread journalistic speculation that Tee is to blame for Ja’s recent problems away from the court.
A lot of people are looking forward to the start of the NBA season next week, but Morant won’t be able to enjoy it because he was suspended for the first 25 games for his actions in the offseason.
Since this has now happened twice, the punishment is severe. There have been rumors recently that Tee Morant hasn’t been doing anything to help his son remain out of trouble and on the basketball court.
Tee Morant has Draymond Green’s support.
Draymond Green has responded on Instagram, strongly implying that he does not think Tee is to blame for his son’s difficulties and that he should not be attacked because of it.
Don’t take another black man’s place in his children’s lives, please. Out of Sumter, “they’re not even trying,” he wrote.
The insider who began this tempest informed ESPN that the fact that Tee did not make it to the NBA is contributing to Ja’s current problems.
The source is reported as saying, “Tee has been a big driving force in all of this. He’ll never play in the NBA, but here is his chance to enjoy himself as if he did. That’s been an issue from day one.
