Draymond Green proposed to Hazel Renee Joiner in a sophisticated and romantic manner. He is now married to her.

Though they have known one other for much longer, Green and Hazel Renee only began dating a few years ago. They were paired up in a theatrical class at Michigan State University. When Green was a freshman and Renee was a track and field athlete, the two students became close because of their shared sports history.

 

That the two “naturally gravitated toward one another for group projects” was what she said to Vogue. Years later, after Renee was pursuing her acting and singing career and Green had already made a nаme for herself in the NBA, they got back together for their first date in Los Angeles.

 

Renee stated they spent the entire day catching up and conversing for hours at a rooftop pool in an interview with Essence. “We really are best friends,” the reality star and actress stated, describing how their friendship developed exactly from that first date.

In front of their family in a charming location, Green proposed to Renee on January 19, 2019. The couple and their children were taken by helicopter to a boat at the beginning of the proposal, as seen in the video that the two uploaded. Green proposed to them in front of their loved ones when he arrived, getting down on one knee.

Due to CоVID-19 delays and Renee’s pregnancy, they were engaged for three years before getting married on August 14, 2022. According to Vogue, they exchanged vows at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego in front of a number of family members and close friends, including some NBA stars.
