Pippen wrote in his memoir, “Unguarded,” that he was very upset that Jordan took “all the credit” and didn’t feature enough of his teammates and minimized his accomplishments in the Netflix docuseries “The Last Dance.” This marked the final straw in what had been an on-and-off relationship between MJ and Pippen.

The feud escalated when Michael’s son Marcus began seeing Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa, from whom he had recently divorced in December 2021; rumors of her dating Marcus Jordan surfaced in the middle to late 2022.
