De’Aaron Fox finalizing endorsement deal with Curry brand! Becoming the first NBA player to sign with Stephen Curry’s signature line at Under Armour.

The floor generals of the Warriors and Kings are forming a cohesive unit despite their intense rivalry.

On Thursday morning, Steph Curry, the superstar of the Warriors, welcomed De’Aaron Fox, the standout point guard for the Kings, to his Curry Brand.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Fox is the first NBA player to sign with Curry’s Under Armour brand.

During the Kings’ 130-114 season-opening victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night at Delta Center, word leaked out that Fox had joined the Curry Brand.

 

Veteran forward Harrison Barnes was questioned about his observations of Fox’s development into a signature-shoe player following Sacramento’s tҺrilling victory.

“It’s about time,” Barnes stated to Utah media. “I still feel a certain way about not having purchased the Swipa 1s when they were first released as an off-court sneaker. Not only is he a fantastic player off the court, but I also think that his accomplishments as a person are well-deserved and deserve recognition. In this league, not every guy gets a trademark sneaker.

“I believe it demonstrates the amount of effort he has put into improving his game. Not unless you keep improving year after year and each and every offseason can those kinds of things occur. I simply admire him.”

In the Kings’ victory over the Jazz, Fox ended with 18 points on 6-of-18 shooting, six assists, and five rebounds.

This Friday, when the Warriors visit Sacramento for the Kings’ 2023–24 home opener, Fox and Curry will play against each other on the court for the first time this season. Next Wednesday, the two opposing teams from Northern California will play again in San Francisco.

Curry and Fox, who are regarded as the captains of their respective teams, will now work together for the foreseeable future.
