King Stephen Curry: Punctuates 3-point flurry by absolutely clowning Dillon Brooks, leaving his opponent unable to react in time

In whole of last season, the Golden State Warriors only managed 11 victories away from home. After edging the winless Houston Rockets 106-95 on Sunday, they have now won two games this season.

They can thank the legendary Stephen Curry flurry.

Following a majority of the game in which he was pinned down, Curry started the fourth quarter at 5:09 and made four straight 3-pointers to increase the Warriors’ advantage from one point to eleven in less than two minutes. He finished the personal 12-0 run with a comically filthy move against Dillon Brooks.

Brooks has to be given credit. He gave Curry a fierce all-night defense. However, he was unsure of his intentions; the man was wildly flailing like a decapitated chicken.

Having said that, am I crаzy enough to believe Curry should have been called for a double dribble there, at the rιsk of coming across as a buzz kιll? Rewatch the video. Curry picks up where he left off dribbling when the ball lands on his hip, indicating that it has come to a complete stop.

Anyway. It was missed by the officials. Still, it was more entertaining to watch Brooks being roasted.

Curry stated of Brooks, “We know what he’s about and his reputation.” “I try not to be suckeԀ into that. I only engage in basketball. It’s clear that you let the game speak for itself.”

Curry’s performance, as always, spoke loudly when it counted most, as he scored 14 points in the last six minutes. Curry completed the game with 24 points, making six of his 14 3-point attempts, after only scoring three points in the first half.

The Warriors, who are already 2-1 in the league, have a short turnaround on Monday night as they fly to New Orleans to play the unbeaten Pelicans.
