During the second quarter of Wednesday’s game, LA Lakers great forward LeBron James woke up the LA Clippers, who play across the street. James had an easy dunk because of the play.
James took a short break in the backcourt to put his shoe back on before the Lakers brought the ball up the court. James didn’t seem to be involved in any of the Lakers’ games, so Kawhi Leonard, the star forward for the Clippers, forgot all about him.
Instead, Leonard chose to help defend Lakers point guard D’Angelo Russell on the outside. Leonard and his co-star, Paul George, double-teamed Russell, though, and James came running back up the court.
Russell then passed the ball to Anthony Davis, a star big man for the Lakers. Davis quickly found James cutting. Leonard wasn’t able to get back on track in time, which let “The King” make an easy dunk that cut the Clippers’ lead to nine points.

James said, “We’re going to keep getting better.””I think we’re still figuring it out, which is fine.” There are four games left. We like some of what we see so far, but we know we’ll get better as the season goes on.
James, whо will sооn be 39 years оld, is still putting up great numbers in Year 21. This makes it hard fоr mоst peоple tо blame him fоr the Lakers’ оffensive prоblems. They will need tо start stepping up sооn if the Lakers dоn’t want tо fall behind in the Western Cоnference rankings.
James is making 1.8 3-pointers, 8.5 boards, 6.5 assists, 1.5 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 22.0 points per game after four games. He is also shooting 53.0% from three-point range.
