In business news, The Morning Call reports that Shaq’s Big Chicken is getting ready to open its first traditional site in the Poconos, Pennsylvania, later this month. The restaurant will open in the Tannersville, Monroe County area just before Thanksgiving. The newest Big Chicken will open on Monday, November 20. There is already one at the Comcast Center in Philadelphia.

Black Enterprise had earlier reported that Big Chicken and H&D Group Investments were working together to open 20 franchises in Michigan cities such as Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Lansing.
