Detroit was down eight points at the half, but late in the third quarter, Umude’s back-to-back 3-pointers gave them an 80-74 lead. At the end of the quarter, Dario Saric’s three-point shot gave Golden State the lead again, 83–82. During the quarter, the Warriors shot 2 for 12 from 3-point range.
With nine minutes remaining, Umude, who had only scored two NBA points in six previous games, nailed another three-pointer and converted a three-point play to give the Pistons a 93-88 lead.
With 4:44 remaining, Detroit was up two points, 105-103, but Curry scored the next four baskets to put the game up to six points. With 1:26 remaining, Paul added a crucial baseline jumper.
With 20 points at the end of the first half, Curry scored 16 in the opening 7 and a half minutes to give the Warriors a 56-48 advantage. Golden State held a 15-2 advantage in second-chance points thanks to an 8-1 advantage in оffensive rebounds.
