The Los Angeles Lakers need LeBron James on the court for most of the game, despite coach Darvin Ham’s assertion that James will play only 29 or less minutes.

 

James had a great game on Monday against the Miami Heat, but they still lost by two points. LBJ scored 30 points to try and lead Los Angeles, but it wasn’t enough.

The Lakers’ inability to win without the “King” has elicited pity from Los Angeles natives. Fans are asking on social media for the Lakers to acquire assistance for LeBron James now that he is nearing the end of his career.

Even while it’s incredible to see LeBron James still performing at a high level, it’s hard not to feel sympathy for him because he’s well past the point in his career where he should be easing out of the spotlight.

If the Lakers want to win without relying on LeBron to save them every time, Anthony Davis and the rest of the team will need to step up their game.
